Movie Night

Live: Jonathan completed his 300th link in his annual construction paper chain. Colorful and fun.
Learn: Sony Bravia Z-Series is the only 40" tv that will squeeze into our entertainment center.
Laugh: Silly afternoon with Jonathan.
Love: Movie and popcorn, cuddled on the couch with Karen.

6. Shanes

Live: Started "100 pushups" program.
Learn: Kenmore is Consumer Reports Best Buy and Top Ranked dishwasher.
Laugh: Fun night with Shanes. They brought over pizza and their dog, Tess.
Love: Helped take care of Rachel today. She's home from school, 'sick'.

5. Cold day

Live: Discovered Brad Paisley's acoustic 'What a Friend We Have in Jesus'. Been listening to it all morning.
Learn: Instead of 'planning' to do something, do it. Do it Now.

4.The Ocean

live: played in the strong surf with the family
learn: at the beach: one red flag flying means 'warning', rough seas. Two red flags means 'beach closed'. (It was a one-red-flag day!)
laugh: non-stop smiles all around as we got banged up and thrown around as the waves broke with their mighty roars.
love: drove 30 minutes back to the beach when we realized we forgot Rachel's sea shell collection.

3. Getting Ready to Rumble

Live: Getting geared up for my first Rails Rumble.
Learn: Finally learned what Rickrolling is. A term I've seen before, but only learned today what it means.
Laugh: The other two guys on my current project are fun to work with. Had a funny Skype call with them today.
Love: Shared a great dinner out with the family and Karen's mom.

2. Ox tail soup

Live: Had Ox tail soup for the first time.
Learn: Ox tail is literally the tail from an ox. Usually sliced like you would a cucumber.
Laugh: Rachel can burp her ABCs. So proud!
Love: Nice to wake up snuggling with Karen in the morning.

1. Grandma's Pool

Live: Jonathan: "Be a kid again! Jump in the pool!" I did.
Learn: New MacBook casing is made from a solid block of aluminum.
Laugh: Rachel, fully dressed in dry street clothes, to Karen: "Throw me in". Next thing I saw: Rachel's big smile as she flew through the air and splashed into the pool.
Love: Shared a good evening of swimming with Karen and the kids.
